Welcome to TikTok. This Privacy Policy applies to the TikTok services (“Platform”), including the TikTok apps, websites, software and related services accessed through any platforms or devices linked to this Privacy Policy. The platform is provided and controlled by TikTok Pte. Ltd", registered at 1 Raffles Quay, #26-10, South Tower, Singapore 048583 ("TikTok", "we" or "us/our").

We are committed to protecting and respecting your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, transfer and otherwise process the personal data of users and others in connection with our Platform. If you do not agree to this policy, you must not use the Platform.

Information you provide

• Information in your profile. You provide us with information when registering on the Platform, including your username, password, date of birth (as applicable), email address and/or telephone number, information you provide in your user profile, and your photo or video in profile.
• User Content. We process content that you create on the Platform, including photos, audio and video that you upload or create, your comments, hashtags, feedback, reviews and live streams, and related metadata, such as when, where and by whom content has been created ("User Content"). Even if you are not a user, information about you may appear in User Content created or posted by users on the Platform. We collect User Content by preloading during creation, import, or upload, whether you choose to save or download that User Content, to recommend audio options and provide other personalized recommendations. If you apply any effect to your User Content, we may retain a version of your User Content that does not include the effect.
• Messages. We collect information that you provide when you compose, send or receive messages through the Messaging Platform features. This includes messages you send or receive through our chat functionality when communicating with merchants from whom you purchase an item and your use of virtual assistants when making purchases through the Platform. This information includes the content of the message and data about it, such as when it was sent, received or read, as well as data about the participants in the correspondence. 
• Please note that messages you send to other users of the Platform will be available to those users and that we are not responsible for how those users use or distribute messages.
  We may access content, including text, images and videos, on your device's clipboard with your permission. For example, if you choose to start sharing content with a third party platform or paste content from your clipboard to the Platform, we will access that information stored on your clipboard in order to fulfill your request.

1. Purchase information. When you make a purchase or payment on or through the Platform, including when you purchase TikTok Coins or purchase items using our shopping features, we collect purchase or payment transaction information such as payment card details, payment details, delivery and contact details, as well as information about the goods you purchased.
2. Contacts of your phone and social networks. If you choose to sync your phone contacts, we will collect information such as names, phone numbers and email addresses and match this information with existing users of the Platform. If you choose to share your social media contacts, we will collect your public profile data and the names and profiles of your social media contacts.
3. Verification of your identity or age. In some cases, we will ask you to verify your identity or age in order to use certain features, such as live streaming or verified accounts, or if you are applying for a Pro account, to verify that you are of the required age to use the Platform, or in other cases when verification may be required.
4. Information in communications you send to us, including when you contact our support or provide feedback.
   Information obtained through surveys, surveys, promotions, contests, marketing campaigns, challenges, competitions or events hosted or sponsored by us in which you participate.
